Ann Anderson

Alma Ann Anderson, 87, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Summerford Health and Rehab in Falkville. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A private graveside will follow at Mount Hope Methodist Cemetery.

Born on January 19, 1938 to the late Alvin and Elsie White Lovett, Ann was a faithful member of Beltline Church of Christ where she enjoyed serving in several ministries. She will be remembered as a loving mom, Granny Mom, and Great-Granny Mom.

Survivors include her son, Chris (Suzanne) Jeffreys; grandchildren, Nikki (Eric) Nickerson, Kelsey (Bobby) Jeffreys, Chase (Kim) Wallace, and Morgan (Shaun) Teeters; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Rice, and Helen (Mike) O'Neal; sister-in-law, Betty Lovett; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Anderson; parents; and brother, Cleveland Lovett.

Pallbearers will be Toby Joseph, Chad O'Neal, Myles Ellison, Chase Wallace, Bobby Hyche, and Eric Nickerson.
