Angela Shields

Angela Green Shields, 55, of Town Creek passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at her mother’s residence. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at Blackground Cemetery, on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Timothy Murray, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Blackground Cemetery, Town Creek, Alabama.

Born February 10, 1966 to James “Jim” Green and Betty Sue Lovelady Green, Angie loved spending time with her grand kids and her family. She was a graduate of Hazelwood High School.

Survivors include her husband of sixteen years; Wendell Shields, Jr, One son, Chris Allen (Christina) and one daughter; Kayla Allen, three step-daughters; Chealsee Shields, Courtney Chismar and Samantha Shields. Seven grandchildren; Zaylen Scott, Emily Donaldson, Isabella Porchowsky, Ali-Ray Scott, Gavin Donaldson, Aislin Little and Jaidyn Allen, her mother; Betty Sue Green, one sister; Donna Alexander Yancey (Charlie) and one niece; Julie Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her father; James “Jim” Green.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Yancey, Kyle Jones, Jason Shields, Tyler Love, Matthew Lovelady and Edward Oliver.
