Benton O'Neal Masterson, 85 years old, passed from this life Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Falkville Nursing Home.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lawrence Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM in Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Masterson Cemetery.
O'Neal was born and lived in Lawrence County his entire life. He was a farmer and also worked for TVA at Colbert Steam Plant as a pipe fitter helper.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Alvie and Laura Dawson Masterson and his older brother: Woodie Royce Masterson.
O'Neal is survived by one brother: Benford Masterson and his wife Reba, one nephew: Marc Masterson and his wife Rachel, three great nieces: Savannah, Caroline and Raegan Masterson and a number of cousins.
Pallbearers will be: Marc Masterson, Roger Masterson, Tom Pace, Renee Payne, Eddie Masterson and Luther Masterson.
