Betty Ruth Byrd

Betty Ruth Byrd, 88, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at NHC of Moulton. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be at Cullman Memory Gardens.
Betty was born on March 17, 1938 to Clell and Hattie Patterson Townson. She was a graduate of Cullman High School class of 1956.

     Survivors include her children, Kathy (Benny) Stewart, of Hillsboro and Kent Culver; grandchildren, Jeremy Stewart (Celina) and David Stewart (Cheryl); great-grandchildren, Jacob Stewart, Rhiannon Stewart, Aiden Stewart, Boone Stewart, Bailey Stewart, Brooklyn Stewart; nephews; David Parker (Pamela) and Danny Parker (Celeste).

     Betty was preceded in death by her father, Clell Townson; mother, Hattie Townson; son, Randy Culver; grandson, Chad Culver; niece, Dena Parker; sisters, Syble Miller and Linda Parker. The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at NHC Moulton.
