Betty Givens

Betty Ruth Givens, 81, of Courtland passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton, AL. The graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Courtland City Cemetery with Scottie Letson officiating.

A member of Courtland Church of Christ, Mrs. Givens was also the owner of Givens Groceries.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Drew Givens of Courtland and Randy Givens (Candace) of Florence; brothers, Billy Terry and Roger Terry both of Trinity; sisters, Josephine Travis and LouAgnes Dotson both of Decatur and Joyce Terry of Moulton; three granddaughters and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Givens; parents, Joe Terry, Jr. and Lillie Mae Rodgers Terry; brothers, Robert Terry, IQ Terry and Donald Terry; and sisters, Ide Mae Heflin and Joann Letson.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
