Betty Lee Lovett, 91, of Moulton, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at NHC of Moulton. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Arnold officiating. Burial will be at Owen Chapel Cemetery.

Born on April 4, 1934 to the late James and Cora Gaston Spruell, Betty was a longtime member of Owen Chapel Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading, word search puzzles, gardening and helping others especially with her cooking.

Survivors include her children, Charles (Janet) Lovett, and Connie (Jacob) Dutton; grandchildren, Julie (Jimmy) Warren, Wesley (Candi) Lovett, Lori (Chad) Vining, Abigail (Greg) Arnold, Joe (Jenny) Dutton, and Kimberly (Brent) Fairbanks; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cleveland "Piggy" Lovett; parents; and sister, Frances Uptain.

Pallbearers will be Joe Dutton, Wesley Lovett, Chad O'Neal, Brent Fairbanks, Chris Jeffreys, and Chad Vining. Honorary pallbearers are Blake Lovett, Preston Lovett, Hudson Sneed, Colton Vining, Austin Arnold, Grant Fairbanks, Glenn Rice, and Dawson Pendley.

The family extends special thanks to Aveanna Hospice, the NHC Staff, Leah Coffey, Christi Brooks and Alli, Corey Byrd, and Katherine Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aveanna Hospice or the Gideons International.
