Carolyn Tidwell

Carolyn Sue Tidwell, 76, of Moulton, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at her home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Standridge officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on June 6, 1949 to the late Earl and Lucy Azie Hubbert Rhodes, Carolyn was a student at Wilson High School. Throughout the years she attended Old Liberty Church and Caddo Congregational Church. She loved nothing more than visiting with her grandchildren and following all their adventures and accomplishments.

Survivors include her children, Belinda (Tim) Cross, and Brad (Christina) Tidwell; grandchildren, Brady (Julianna) Cross, Sam Cross, Tanner Armstrong, and Reaghan Tidwell; sisters, Kay (Junior) Stooksberry, Peggy (Michael) Glover, and Donna (Dale) Phillips; brother, Johnny Rhodes; sister-in-law, Kathy Rhodes; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Raymond Tidwell; parents; and brother, Tommy Rhodes.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Alabama Hospice of the Shoals.
