Clezelle Anderton

Clezelle Anderton, 94, of Moulton, Alabama went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2025. A family graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Church with Brother Josh Horton and Pastor Clint Fredrick officiating.

Clezelle was born on October 27, 1930, to the late William Joseph and Lassie Bradford Lipscomb. She married Cecil Anderton on May 17, 1946.

Survivors include her children, Linda (Waymon) Pace and Doug Anderton; granddaughter, Kim (Steven) Harville; great-grandsons, Colby (Alison) Harville and Noah Harville; great-great-granddaughter, Kyndall Harville; sisters, Vivian (Darwin) Sullins and Brenda (Mark) Schrimsher; brothers, Joe (the late Delona) Lipscomb Jr., Bob (Ricky) Lipscomb, and Nathaniel (Avon) Lipscomb.

Clezelle was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Dorothy Lipscomb and Pauline (Eulice) Steadmon and sister-in-law Catherine Stewart Lipscomb.

Pallbearers will be Colby Harville, Noah Harville, Jonah Sprinkle, Tim Lipscomb, Randall Steadmon, and Greg Steadmon.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Aveanna Hospice for their excellent, compassionate care, and attention that Mom received and the support that helped sustain us.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
