Coy Dotson

Coy Cornelius Dotson, 78, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his residence. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Moulton Memory Gardens with Wayne Dotson officiating.

Born on April 5, 1945, to Coy and Irene Jackson Dotson, Coy enjoyed spending time outside, playing with his great-grandchildren, and babysitting Bentley.

Survivors include his wife Doris Wallace Dotson; son, Greg Dotson; two grandchildren, Mary Noonan (Micah) and Anna Wilson (Jon); four great-grandchildren, Elaina Patterson, Bentley Dotson, Colton Wilson, and Grayson Noonan; one sister, Jan Doston Nash; four brothers, Titus Dotson (Brenda), Chuck Dotson (Samantha), Ronald Dotson (Judy), and Tommy Dotson (Cynthia); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Coy was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Irene Dotson; daughter-in-law, Angie Dotson; three brothers, James Dotson, Henry Dotson, and Tim Dotson; four sisters, Opal Suddieth, Ruth Nolen, Doris Nolen, and Lois King.

Pallbearers will be Micah Noonan, Jon Wilson, Greg Cooper, David Hall, Tyler Dotson, Burl Stricklin.
