Delmer Huckaba

Delmer Huckaba, 86, of Town Creek, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 07, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Marvin Huckaba officiating. Burial will be at King Cemetery.

Born on March 14, 1938, to Charlie and Nora Webb Huckaba, Delmer was a member of Time of Harvest Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting.

Survivors include his two children, Marvin (Brenda) Huckaba and Susie Crowden; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Smith and Mildred (David) Kiel; one brother, Ted Huckaba; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Delmer was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Huckaba; two daughters, Irene Huckaba and Jennie McLemore; parents, Charlie and Nora Huckaba; three brothers, James Huckaba, Johnny Huckaba, and Elmer Huckaba; two sisters, Betty Presley and Shirley Nix.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
