Elizabeth Chamness
October 7, 1960 — September 16, 2017
Elizabeth Rachel Brown Chamness, 56, of Mt. Hope passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 until the service begins at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at My Father’s House Church with Bro. James Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Methodist Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family. Elizabeth was a member of My Father’s House Church.
A member of My Father’s House Church, Elizabeth loved to color and put puzzles together.
Survivors include her son, Brandon Johnson; sister, Shelia Johnson (Brian); several nieces and nephews and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Rachel Brown; and her husband, Harold Chamness.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Bean, Jason Farrell and Fredi Vargas.
The family offers special thanks to the staff of Kindred Hospice.
