Elsie Mae Farley

Elsie Mae Farley, 84, of Town Creek, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 at Keller Landing in Tuscumbia. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Randy Parker and Gary Parker officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on May 9, 1942 to the late James and Mattie White Myers, Elsie was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. She loved gardening, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Joseph (Christine) Farley, Donnie (Janet) Farley, and Timothy (Sue) Farley; grandchildren, Cassie James, Jonathan (Ellen) Farley, Blair Farley, and Joshua Farley; great-grandchildren, Gatlin Farley, and Emersyn Ruth Farley; sister, Betty Faye McCullar; brother, Charles Myers; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, William Farley; parents; brothers, Homer Hand; Kenneth Myers; Thomas Lee Myers, Wayne Myers, and Billy Gaye Myers; sisters, Jimmie Sue Baker, Juanita Steele, Wynell Reed, and Gail Steele Jordan.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Farley, Joshua Farley, Jason Kerby, Steven Flanagan, Casey Stark, Tyler Stark, and Gary Parker.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice.
