Gary Jeffreys

Gary Douglas Jeffreys, 72, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home in Alexander City, AL. The graveside service will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Hardshell Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on June 5, 1950, to Willie Edard and Gladys Lowery Jeffreys, Gary enjoyed listening to music, collecting musical instruments of all kinds, and going hunting.

Survivors include his brother, James Lowry Jeffreys (Bobbie); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Edard and Gladys Lowery Jeffreys; brother, Jr. Jeffreys; and sister, Joyce Willis.

Pallbearers will be family.

The family extends special thanks to Bill Nichols State Veterans Home for their compassionate care.
