Darwin Sullins

Guan "Darwin" Sullins, 93, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at his residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Union Hill Baptist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at the church with Chris Joiner and Michael McCulloch officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.

Born on May 18, 1933, to Pink and Birchey Terry Sullins. Darwin was a faithful member of Union Hill Baptist Church. He loved farming, fishing, and woodworking. Darwin and Vivian did not have any children of there own, but loved their nieces and nephews as if they were their own children.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Vivian Sullins; brother, Joel (Debbie) Sullins; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Darwin was preceded in death by his father, Pink Sullins; mother, Birchey Sullins; brother, Von Sullins; brother, Douglas Sullins; and sister, Annette Macon.

Pallbearers will be Doug Anderton, Frank Macon, Tim Lipscomb, Blake Thompson, Landon Thompson, Steve Steadmon, and Randal Steadmon.

The family extends special thanks to Laura Lowery, Julie Stricklin, Keisha Sawyer, Chasity Johnson, Paige Brewer, Jennifer Hill, Brittney Gay, and Enhabit Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
