Haskel Lee Wimbs, 71 years old of Town Creek , passed away at his residence Tuesday, August 16, 2016.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 12:00 -2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Bro Raymond Sutton Officiating. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery.
Mr. Wimbs was retired as a Mill Worker from ConAgra Flour Mill. He was born in Colbert County, Alabama, January 25, 1945 to Elton Wimbs and Carrie Terry Wimbs. Haskel was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Herchell Wimbs and Tony Wimbs.
Mr. Wimbs is survived by his wife Margie Winchester Wimbs, Two Sons, Brandon Wimbs, (Banita) and
Cody Wimbs,(Cassie), One daughter. Pamela Wimbs, Two Brothers, William (Buck) Wimbs and Neal Wimbs, One Sister, Janie Campbell and Four Grandchildren, Kaleb Wimbs, Destanie Wimbs, Brayden Wimbs and Bennett Fulenwider.
Pallbearers are Ronald Curry, Tim Curry, Trent Curry, Joshua Curry, Brandon Wimbs, Tony White, Russell Woodruff and Don Thompson.
Honorary Pallbearers are Price Parker, Kaleb Wimbs, Destanie Wimbs, Brayden Wimbs and Bennett Fulenwider.
