Jackson Easterwood

Jackson Gregory Easterwood, 2, of Harvest passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham. Visitation will be from 5 till 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the funeral home with J. Charles Boling and Marvin McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Blackground Cemetery.

Born on November 30, 2015 Jackson was a very bright and handsome young man with a smile that would light up the room. He had a mischievous side but his hugs always made up for it!

Survivors include his parents, Eric and Michelle Smith Easterwood; sister, Angel Caroline Easterwood; grandparents, Larry and Lynn Easterwood; great grandparents, J. Charles and Loena Boling; aunts and uncles, Angela Morrow and Lonnie Carr, Kristen and Brent Griffith, Vikki and Anthony Smith, Katherine and Brad Easterwood, Kaye and Fred Mason, Adam Easterwood, Jerry Easterwood and Kerri Williams, and Rachel Easterwood; great aunt and uncle Huel and Jo Ann Bishop; and a host of cousins and extended family.

Jackson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Elizabeth Smith and Greg Smith.

On behalf of Jackson, his family would like to thank all of the First Responders of Danville/Punkin Center, the Medflight staff, and the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Children’s Hospital PICU and ER departments.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.
