Eddy Jones

James Eddy Jones, 77, of Moulton, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at his home. The family is planning a private service at a later date. Burial will be at Jones Chapel Cemetery

Born on January 22, 1949 to the late Silas and Mearl Mardis Jones, Eddy enjoyed cars, guns, and horses. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he received the Purple Heart for injuries received during battle.

Survivors include his sons, James Bo Jones, and Billy Joe Jones; sister, Penny (Ronald) Davis; brothers, Roger (Bonita) Jones, Bruce (Linda) Jones, and Kent Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

James was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Misty Shae Jones; son, Billy Jack Jones; and sisters, Gena Jones Owens, and Wendy Jones Letson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity or veteran support group in memory of Eddy.
