Janet Lynn Hagood

Janet Lynn Hagood, 59, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at her home. The family is planning a private family gathering.
Born on June 26, 1966 to the late William and Mae Bell Moore Hagood, Janet enjoyed spending time with her love, Bernabe and the rest of her family. She especially loved watching her grandbabies grow up.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Bernabe Eguia; children, Levi (Chelsey) Hagood, Joshua (Michelle) Eguia, Jessie (Erica) Eguia, Bernabe Eguia III; grandchildren, Abbigelle (Bretley) Hagood, Zoey Letson, Jase Hagood, Nixyn Hagood, Maddy Hagood, Adam Hagood, Lynnox Hagood, Brooklyn Oliver, Tiffany (Drew) Eguia, Elliot (Keith) Embers, Lucy (Luke) Eguia, Stormey Blasingame, Zoey (Hayden) Eguia, JC Eguia, and Nicholas Eguia; brothers, William Christopher Hagood, Steven Hagood, and William Gorman Hagood; best friends, Rebecca Holiday and Shane and Rita Hastings; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Adam Hagood; daughter-in-law, Terra Eguia; grandchild, Jordan Eguia; sisters, Carolyn Hagood, and Virginia Hagood; and brothers, Gary Hagood, and Brian Hagood.
The family extends special thanks to Enhabit Hospice, especially her nurses Laura Lowery, Paige Brewer and bath aide, Brittney Gay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
