Jeanette Manley

Jeanette Gray Manley, 80, of Hartselle, Alabama passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Ryan Wilburn officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Gardens.

Born on June 29, 1943, to James and Lettie Bell Sikes. Jeanette (Mamaw) enjoyed traveling the world. She loved her family dearly and would spend most of her days with them at the family lake house. Her grandchildren were her world and she made sure they knew how much they were loved. If you were around her you would most times hear her singing, "You Are My Sunshine".

Survivors include her three sons, William Gray (Teresa), Dewayne Gray, and Shawn Gray (Maranda); six grandchildren, Kesha Durham (Casey), Corey Gray, Haley Gray, Chloe Gray, Hayden Gray, and Owen Gray; great-grandchildren, Brayden Kelley, Mable Durham, and Addie Grace Kelley; one sister, Sara Matala (Mike); one brother, Albert Hamrick (Mel); husband, Glenn Green; one step daughter; several step-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her father, James Sikes; mother, Lettie Bell Hamrick; sister, Peggy Gordy.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
