Jimi Grimes

Jimi Eric Grimes, 72, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at UAB Hospital. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Larry Lang officiating.

Eric enjoyed riding his Harleys and always hoped to ride again one last time. He was an award winning auto body restoration artist.

Survivors include his wife, Kat Grimes; children, Eric Grimes (Page), Amy Grimes, Dana Grimes, Shane Beasley (Kelley) and Shatone Foster; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and three fur babies, Slapper, Rose, and Mac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Laconia Hale Grimes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Transplant Center at UAB.
