Johnny Wade Nicholson, 64, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital Decatur, AL. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Russellville.

Born on September 26, 1960, to Harlon and Nita Ridgeway Nicholson. Johnny enjoyed watching the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Survivors include his mother, Nita Ridgeway Nicholson; sisters, Nancy (Farlon) Roberts, Rita Parker, Deborah Ebright, Lisa (Myron) Hutto, and Amy (Daryle) Phillips; brother, Loyd Nicholson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Harlon Nicholson; sister, Renee Mahathy; brother-in-law, Bill Ebright.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to the Doctors, nurses, and staff at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
