Karen Flannagin

Karen Sue Flannagin, 78, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at her residence in Moulton, AL. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Shane Williams officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Garden.

Born on June 8, 1947, to Eugene and Louise Riner Sapp, Karen enjoyed taking care of her dog Max, spending time with her family, and eating honey buns with her diet Pepsi.

Survivors include her children, Becky (Travis) Holloway, Balinda (Shane) Williams, Ricky "Bo" Flannagin, Bonnie (Jason Cantrell) Johnson; daughter-in-law, Felicia Flannigan; grandchildren, Jonathan Wallace, Lindsey Flannigan, Bailey (Kailie Bumgart) Johnson, Nathan Williams, Logan Flannigan, Alicia (Gary Mitchell) Porter; great-grandchild, Dolly Mitchell; sisters, Kathy (James) Balentine, Janet Sapp, Rita (Jackie) Sides; brothers, Junior (Shelba) Sapp and Larry (Charlotte) Sapp; fur-baby, Max; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Flannagin; sons, Danny, Donnie, and Ronnie "Runt" Flannigan; parents, Eugene and Louise Sapp; son-in-law, Chris Johnson; sister, Joyce Jones.

Pallbearers will be Bailey Johnson, Nathan Williams, Logan Flannigan, Travis Holloway, Jason Cantrell, Gary Mitchell, Steven Little, and Tharol Vess.

The family extends thanks to Amedisys Hospice, and a Special Thank You to her daughter-in-law, Felicia Flannigan for staying and helping us through it all.
