Laura Mae LouAllen Borden DeShong, 91, of Moulton passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at her home. Visitation will be from to 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Standridge officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, James DeShong; and sons, Denzil (Linda) Borden of Danville, Cluetis (Joyce) Borden of Houston, Bueil Borden of Moulton; daughters, Josephine Little of Mount Hope, Brenda (Charles) Long of Courtland; Cynthia (Gary) Brooks of Montevallo, and Libby (Tommy) Joiner of Moulton; 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, brother Roland Calhoun of Moulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Borden; her parents, Ed LouAllen and Nellie Borden Calhoun; brother, Arlin Calhoun; and sisters, Susie Bray and Lizzie Bray.
Pallbearers will be Steele Joiner, Dennis Joiner, Jack Long, Thomas Long, Lee Borden, and Darrell Little.
