Luree Shields

Luree Shields, 83, of Mount Hope, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at her nephew's home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 07, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Tab Garrison officiating. Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery.

Born on September 26, 1942 to the late Wallace and Hattie Mitchell Mansell, Luree enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo. She also loved to garden and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Timothy Shields, Kimberly Clemons, and Pat (Buddy) Roper; grandchildren, JaHala Shields, Will Clemons, Kimberly (Kyle) Roberson, Taylor Heflin, Travis Heflin, and Caleb (Nichole) Roper; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Butch) Silva; brother, Buford Mansell; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Luree was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Shields; parents; son, Keith Shields; grandson, Blake Heflin; granddaughter, JaTara Luree Shields; son-in-law, Brandon Clemons; sisters, Thelma Parker, and Ella Mae Guffy; and brothers, Woodrow Mansell, Earl Berryhill, and Billy Berryhill.

Pallbearers will be Will Clemons, Taylor Heflin, Travis Heflin, Caleb Roper, Kyle Roberson, and Chris Silva.

The family extends special thanks to Ashley and Chris Silva along with the nurses and staff with Aveanna Hospice for their wonderful care of Mrs. Luree.
