Magdalene Devaney
Magdalene Louallen Devaney, 81, of Moulton passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at her home. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the funeral home with Jamie Suggs and Waymon Ashley officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
A member of Pleasant Ridge Holy Church of Christ, Magdalene was preceded in death by her parents, Claudie Appie and Pearlie Flannigan Louallen; daughter, Becky Coleman; grandson, Gerrick Coleman; son-in-law, Greg Coleman; and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, James Devaney; sons, David Devaney (Susan) of Moulton, Steve Devaney (Wanda) of Moulton, Micah Devaney (Angela) of Decatur, and Scott Devaney of Moulton; brother, Edward Louallen (Winnie Sue) of Moulton; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Erick Clark.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
