Margie “Nell” Gibson Hale Robbins, 88, of Town Creek passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at her residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Tim Sawyer officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born May 17, 1933 to Willie and Leatie Gibson, Margie “Nell” was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her babies, watching game shows and listening to Jimmy Swaggart. Margie “Nell” loved to cook and make her famous banana pudding and tacos. She loved to sit outside and watch humming birds, admire her plants and watch her babies play. It was always a joy to have her family all together at one time.
Survivors include her three sons; Bud Hale (Gale), Billy Hale, and Tommy Robbins (Shirley), five grandchildren; Lisa Charkatz, Kesha Tevebaugh (Darrin), Miranda Dix (Josh), Ambria Bradford (Rickey) and Hannah Robbins, six great-grandchildren; Hanna Charkatz, Ashton McLemore, Sydney Tevebaugh, Kendall Tevebaugh, Corinne Dix, Jameson Dix, Raylee Bradford and McKinsley Bradford and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; Barto Hale and Tom Robbins, her son; Bart Hale Jr., her daughter; Patricia Diane Hale, her parents, three brothers; William Gibson, Fendall Gibson and Thomas “Sandy” Gibson, four sisters; Minnie Lee King, Dorothy Parker, Polly Butler and Rosie Lee Spann.
Pallbearers will be Ashton McLemore, Rickey Bradford, Jimmy Gibson, Josh Dix, Darrin Tevebaugh, and Johnny Boston. Honorary Pallbearer will be; Raymond Gibson.
