Marjorie Gibson

Marjorie Ann Gibson, 87, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Charles Stone officiating. Burial will be at Fergason Cemetery in Town Creek.

Born on March 31, 1938, to James and Susie Fretwell Evans. Marjorie enjoyed painting and gardening. Above all she loved her family.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Bobby Gibson; children, Ronnie (Judith) Gibson, Dana Terry, and Loretta (Michael) Cowley; daughter-in-law, Sherry Gibson; grandchildren, Chase (Courtney) Terry, Joseph (Breanna) Gibson, Anthony Gibson, Eric (Ashley) Gibson, Deanna Terry, Marenna Cowley, Makalyn Cowley, Makenly Cowley, Bryan McClendon, and Ashley Judge; great-grandchildren, Meleki Terry, Cooper Terry, Ansley Terry, Carter Gibson, Callie Gibson, Caitlyn Gibson, Addison McClendon, Anderson McClendon, Kooper Gibson, Kinsley Gibson, and Kayden Proctor; brother, Jerry (Doris) Evans; her beloved pet, Lucky; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Susie Evans; son, Tony Gibson; daughter, Marjorie Darlene Gibson; brothers, Junior Evans, Pelham Evans, Willard Evans, and CD Evans; sisters, Louise Cope, Nadine Ellis, and Reble Coffey; son-in-law, Tony Terry.

Pallbearers will be Chase Terry, Joseph Gibson, Anthony Gibson, Eric Gibson, Bryan McClendon, Meleki Terry, and Cooper Terry.
