Marvin Long

Marvin J. Long “Buddy”, 78, of Tuscumbia passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home Mouton Al. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the Chapel with Marvin Huckaba officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughters Susan Fowler and Donna Belcher (Stacy); grandsons Lance Long (Deanna), Anthony Fowler (Theresa Burleson), and Isaac Belcher (Kristina); granddaughters Jodi Bohn and Stephanie Belcher, six great grandchildren, two sisters Evelyn Agee (Raymond) and Anie Bell Cole.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Thomason Long, parents Marvin Long and Ellar D. Chaney Long, three brothers William Long, Charles Long, and Billy Ray Long, one sister Reba Huckaba

Pallbearers will be Mike Moore, Ronnie Stonecipher, James Lindsey, Steve Lewis, H. E. “Slim” Alsobrooks and Brett Thacker.
