Mary Lorene Ashley, 83, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Decatur Health and Rehab Center Decatur, AL.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be at Old Town Creek Cemetery.

Mary was born on May 11, 1943 to Roy and Wilene Fretwell Fike. Survivors include her daughter, Terri Ashley; grandchildren, Donald Ray Fogle, Thomas John Fogle, Aaron Michael Brown, Lydia Nicole Ashley, Megan Grace Ashley, and Joshua David Ashley; 6 great-grandchildren ; sisters, Margie Vaughan, Peggy McMurray, Shelia Raney, Pamela Jeffreys; brothers, Harold (Waymon) (Barbara) Fike, Leverle (Debbie) Fike, Daughter-in-Law Cindy Ashley, and special mention son Gary Schmidgall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband; Cecil Ray Ashley; father, Roy Fike; mother, Wilene Fike; step-mother, Annie Lee Fike; son, Larry Ashley ; daughter, Tracy Ashley; brother, James Fike; brother, Billy Fike; brother, John Fike; and brother, Charles Fike.
