Jean Randolph, 82, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at NHC of Moulton surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:30 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Jarrod Helms, Josh Horton, and Dylan Westbrook officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.
Jean was born on June 24,1943, in Wolf Springs Community. She was preceded in death by her parents Horace, Irene (biological mother), and Amy (stepmother) Horton; siblings- Pelham, Vernon, Junior Horton, Eloise Kiser, and Kay Alexander. Surviving siblings- Linda Faye Fortner, Elizabeth Sutton, Melissa Mayfield, and Jerry Horton.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Jimmie Lewis Randolph; her children Rhonda (Mark) Nesmith, Joey (Delana)Randolph, and April (Karen) Randolph; grandchildren, Kristi (Matt) Speegle, Nikki (Lance) McCreless, Leslie Patterson, Tara (Jarrod) Helms, Megan (James) Heaps, and Stephen (Jordan) Nesmith; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Patton, and Ella Kate McCreless, Adrianna and Jalen Heaps, Will and Wheeler Patterson, Anna, Brady, Bella, and Noah Helms, and Addison Moore. Jean lived a life filled with love, laughter, and generosity.
She was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved family gatherings around the table especially at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter and always made everyone feel welcome at her table. Jean was a devout Christian who loved serving the Lord. Jean was known for saying, "I am just a country girl, that's the way the Good Lord made me and that is who I will aways be." Jean loved riding horses, watching western movies, and country and gospel music. She loved growing flowers and going to see the Blue Bonnett's in Texas.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Nesmith, Jackson McCreless, Patton McCreless, William Patterson, Wheeler Patterson, and Brady Helms.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jalen Heaps and Noah Helms.The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of NHC, Southern Care Hospice, nurse Sarah Huff with hospice, Nikki Warren with NHC, and the staff of Lawrence Funeral Home.
