Melinda "Lynn" Hand

Melinda "Lynn" Hand, 59, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, at her residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro, Rex Riddle officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Moulton Memory Gardens in Moulton, AL.

Born on November 9, 1963, to Lowell and Louise Thrasher Cole, Melinda graduated from Hatton High School. She was a waitress at the Ranch House in Town Creek for 15 years. Melinda loved her customers just as much as her customers loved her. She enjoyed spending time at VFW with her friends. Above all Melinda loved her grandchildren, and especially her son, Matthew.

Survivors include her son, Matthew Hand (Brittney); step-children, Angie Hand Bradford and Rebecca Hand Harville; eight grandchildren, Autumn Hand, Karisma Harris, Patience Hand, Colton Maples, Ryan Bradford, Elijah Bradford, Joshua Bradford, and Toby Bradford; great-grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly Cole, Cindy Lane, Dana Riddle (Rex); two brothers, Thomas Cole and Winford Cole (Laura); four nieces, Whitney Lane (Beth), Chloe Lane, Jahala Shields, and Lexi Cole (Patrick); two nephews, Josh Riddle (Brittany) and Gunner Lane; life-long friend, Stacy Morgan; and many friends and extended family members.

Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Louise Thrasher Cole; and spouse, Bobby Hand.

Pallbearers will be Colton Maples, Josh Riddle, Gunner Lane, Patrick Lewis, Danny Knight, and Chloe Lane.
