Mona Lee Parker, 67, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Summerford Health and Rehab in Falkville, AL. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 03, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Scott Cramer officiating. Burial will be at Boger Cemetery.
Born on September 11, 1957, to James and Doris Brown Powell. Mona was best known for her 14 years of service as an Associate at Walmart in Moulton. Her warmth and compassion resonated with customers and coworkers alike, making each day brighter for those she encountered. Throughout her life, she found joy in the beauty of flowers and the spirit of Christmas, celebrations that brought her endless happiness.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Mona cherished her time with her family and took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Zeath, Zane, Chloe, Callie, Justus, Carleigh, Addison, Brinlee, Branson, and Daxton. Her family was her greatest joy, and she always made time to create lasting memories with them.
In 2008, Mona embraced her faith and was saved and baptized, dedicating her life to the Lord. She loved God with all her heart and was a true testament of love and sincerity in all her interactions.
Survivors include her sons, Scott (Amanda) Cramer and Brandon (Miranda) Nappier; step-daughter, Shea (Brian) Letson; grandchildren, Zeath Parker, Zane Letson, Chloe Cramer, Callie Cramer, Justus Cramer, Carleigh Cramer, Addison Nappier, Brinlee Nappier, Branson Nappier, and Daxton Nappier; sisters, Rita (Wade) Townsend and Jennifer (Bryan) Askew; brother, Chris (Janphen) Powell; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mona was preceded in death by her husband, James Parker; father, James Powell; mother, Doris Lindsey; brothers, Charles Powell and Jeff Powell; sisters, Lisa Whitten and Tina Childers.
Pallbearers will be Justus Cramer, Bryan Askew, Ashton Cross, Corndog Woodard, Doug Hood, and Chubby McCary. Honorary Pallbearer is Wade Townsend.
The family extends special thanks to Clearview Cancer Institute, Dr. Daniel Schreeder, Dr. Curtis Clark, and the staff of Summerford Health and Rehab.
