Monica Steelman

Monica Steelman, 61, of Hillsboro passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at her home. A graveside service will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 18 at Midway Memorial Gardens with Bro. Kenny Rogers officiating. Lawrence Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Born on March 23, 1960 to the late Travis JD Hopkins and Sarah Myrtle Pitt Hopkins, Monica retired from 3M in 1993. She helped run a cattle farm from 1986 until 2002 and enjoyed the occasional catering opportunity.

Survivors include her sons, Dustin Stricklin and Michael Bradshaw.

Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Steelman and her parents.

The family extends special thanks to her nurses and the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice.
