Muriel Terry

Muriel Keith Terry, 72, of Moulton, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Fairfield Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the church with John Priola and Butch Wiley officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on July 3, 1951 to the late Thomas Vernon and Mavis Randolph Terry, Muriel graduated from Hatton High School and was a member of Fairfield Church of Christ. He loved going to Smith Lake, gardening, cooking, canning, making muscadine jelly, spending time with his grandchildren, and going to all of their ballgames.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Connie Hollis Terry; children, Misty Terry (Chad) Ray, Dustin Kane (Wren) Terry; grandchildren, Maggie Ray, Madelyn Ray, Libby Ray, Kane Terry, Griffin Terry, and Walker Terry; brothers, Vernon Jr. (Sheila) Terry, Roger Lee (Adeline) Terry, and Miller (Sonya) Terry; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Muriel was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny Miles Terry; and nephew, Casey Terry.

Pallbearers will be Keith Terry, Brandon Terry, Stacy Hollis, Ben Hollis, Todd Hollis, and Bart Hollis. Honorary pallbearers are John Hollis, Brody Hollis, Austin Hollis, and Caden Hollis.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Rachel Kruspe, Dr. Ashley Everett and Aveanna Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairfield Church of Christ or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
