Nancy Steele

July 12, 1943 — September 7, 2016


Nancy Lou Erickson Steele, 73 years old of Moulton, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Lawrence Medical Center.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 12:00 -2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Wesley Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Methodist Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Dotson, Nicholas Coan, Corey Dotson, J.R. Terry, Steven Borden, Jesse Borden, Kirt Teightmiller and Robert Passenheim.  Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Timothy Schrimsher, Titus Dotson, Timothy Johnson and Justin Vess.
Mrs. Steele was retired from Lawrence Medical Center as a cook. She was a member  of Hickory Grove Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Steele was preceded in death by her husband: William Franklin Steele, her parents: Arthur Sigar and Marjorie Osterkamp Erickson, and her grandson: Colby Dotson.
She is survived by her son: Scott Edward Steele and his wife Kathleen, Oregon, two stepsons: William Franklin Steele, Jr. of Madison and Larry Barnes of Falkville, three daughters: Brenda Dotson and her husband, Titus, Patricia Steele and Sandy Johnson and her husband, Tim, all of Moulton, one stepdaughter: Shannon Steele of Falkville, two sisters: Judith Passenheim of Illinois and Joan Borden of Moulton, thirteen grandchildren: Wesley Dotson, Tyler Dotson, Nicholas Coan, Kayla Coan, Corey Dotson, Samantha Steele, Savannah Steele, Brayden Jones, Jason Slusser, Gannon Slusser, Whitney Barnes, Amber Johnson and Nathan Johnson and one great granddaughter: Addie Johnson.
