Marie Parker

Nannie Marie Parker, 65, of Moulton, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Seth Holloway officiating.

Born on February 25, 1959 to the late Oscar and Ivory Ferguson Phillips, Marie loved gardening, spending time in nature and going to Olive Garden. Known to never pass up a sale, she loved a good bargain. Most importantly to her was spending time with her family and loving on them.

Survivors include her husband of over 20 years, Kenny Parker; children, Larry Bennett, Vickie (Tony) McCarter, Oscar (Jennifer) Bennett, and Benjamin Parker; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Glisson, Ivory Louise (Scotty) Payne, Joann Bailey, Brenda Lee (Joe) Farmer, Daris Mason; brother, Oscar Lee (Jimmy Bellamy) Phillips; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family extends special thanks to all of Marie's doctors, nurses and caregivers at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter.
