Printice Grimes
June 24, 1934 — March 21, 2017
Printice C. Grimes, 82 years old of Courtland, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his residence.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Kelso officiating. Masonic honors and burial will follow at Moulton Memory Gardens.
Mr. Grimes was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a dual member of Lloyd O Glenn Masonic Lodge #6 and Courtland Masonic Lodge #39. He was retired from General Electric where he worked in the maintenance department.
He was preceded in death by his wives: Dorothy Jean Hollis Grimes and Martha Jo Garrett Grimes, his parents: Jessie P. Grimes and Flossie Rouse Grimes and a son-in-law: Harold Kelsoe.
Mr. Grimes is survived by his daughter: Wanda Kelsoe of Danville, his brother: Granville D. Grimes of Decatur, two grandsons: Shaun Kelsoe and his wife, Amanda of Moulton and Keith Kelsoe and his wife, Summer of Danville, three great grandsons: Spencer Kelsoe and Tucker Kelsoe of Danville and Wyatt Kelsoe of Moulton, one stepson: Fred Skipper and his wife, Sue of Atlanta, two stepdaughters: Tommie Bell and her husband, Wayne of Foley and Connie Lyons and her husband, Eddie of Andalusia and five step grandchildren: Theresa Bowser, Steve Skipper, Jeremy Bell, Nick Bell and Bo Skipper.
Pallbearers will be Masons.
