Becky Pool

Rebecca Darlo Rutherford Pool, 82, of Town Creek, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Dexter Rutherford, and Bro. Terry Settles officiating. Burial will be at King Cemetery.
Born on December 17, 1943 to the late Melvin "Bunt" and Helen Pierce Rutherford, Becky was a member of Okolona Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, working with flowers and watching hummingbirds on her back porch. Becky especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Tracy (Ginger) Pool, and Chris (Hannah) Pool; their father, Norman Pool; grandchildren, Taylor (Brooke) Pool, Emily (Caleb) Nall, Claudia Romans, Claire (Braedon) Brown, and Carrie Anna Pool; great-grandchildren, Emerson Pool, Addie Pool, Elliott Pool, Brooks Nall, Shepherd Nall, Hudson Romans, and Jed Romans; bonus grandchildren, Joey Oliver and Chelsea Free; nieces and nephews, Lanette Roberson, Barry Pool, Brad Pool, Penny Terry, Anita Collins, and Bonnie Randolph; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cathy Rutherford; and nephew, Mel Eddy.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Pool, Brad Pool, Barry Pool, Alex Pelser, Shadoe Stephenson, Joey Oliver, Braedon Brown, and Caleb Nall.
The family extends special thanks to Jennifer Greene; the nurses and staff on the 3rd floor at Helen Keller Hospital; and Hospice of North Alabama.
