They moved from Alabama to Columbus, Mississippi in 1978, where she enjoyed being a loving wife and mother, and friend to many. Joann was a woman of strong Christian faith, a member of Life Church (in Mississippi) and attended Living Waters (in Ocala, FL) until her health prevented it. She loved her church family.
