Sonya Latasha Johnson

Sonya Latasha Johnson, 48, of Mount Hope, Alabama passed away Monday, August 31, 2026, at her residence.

Born on June 15, 1978, to Junior Fulks and Shirley Terry Owens, Sonya was a good hearted person who loved deeply, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Owens; brother, Donald (Loreasa) Purser; cousins, Wayne Hill and Stevie Hill; aunt, Phyllis Terry; and extended family.

Sonya was preceded in death by her father, Junior Fulks; and brother, Shane Fulks.
