Steven Heaton

Steven Walter Heaton, 64, of Moulton, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 while on a cruise near Whittier, AK. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Moulton Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the church with Jonathan Layman and Brad McNutt officiating. Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery.

Born on May 8, 1961 to the late Ernest and Virginia Smith Heaton, Steve served as Deacon at Moulton Church of Christ. He was an avid Alabama Football fan and worked for many years as a Lab Technician and most recently as a Security Guard.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sarah Heaton; sons, Tyler Heaton, Eddie (Jessica Graham) Heaton, Larkin (Renea) Heaton; grandchildren, Ryder Colt Heaton, and Kaydence Blake Heaton; sister, Cindy (Clayton) Flannagan; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Heaton, Eddie Heaton, Larkin Heaton, Randy Wright, Lucas Wright, and John Melton.
