Tommy Chamness

Tommy Wayne Chamness, 59, of Moulton passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Lawrence Medical Center. Because of the COVID-19 restrictions, the family is planning a private graveside service at Moulton Memory Gardens.

A charter member of Victory Baptist Church in Moulton, Tommy loved his Lord and Savior as well as his family. He also enjoyed spending time at the family farm with the animals.

Survivors include his son, Chad Long (Fleming); mother, Mary Lee Chamness; brother, Darel Chamness (Mary); sister, Donna Morris (Aaron); three grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Billy Chamness; his son, Dylan Chamness and his sister, Wanda Lee Chamness.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Gideons International Bible Ministry in memory of Tommy.
