Tommy Ray

Tommy Lynn Ray, 61, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at his residence. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Owen Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery.

Born on November 3, 1963, to Leon and Betty Dotson Ray. Tommy Lynn loved hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. Above all he loved his family and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife Tina Hobgood; children, Tara Voss, Tammy Ray, Beth (Blake) Ray, Kristy (Tim) Ray, and Tommy Lynn Ray Jr; grandchildren, Kayli Ray, Layla Crumpton, Lynnly Crumpton, Raelynn Owens, Navy Bradley, Korbin Ray, Timothy Thigpen Jr., and Marley Ray; great-grandson, Dominic Tennyson; sisters, Nancy Barnett, Chasity Hannah, and Misty Ray; nephews, Chris Barnett, Jeremy Barnett, Timothy Barnett, Jeffrey Barnett, and Shane Hannah and extended family.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Leon Ray.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Lynn Ray Jr., Chris Barnett, Shane Hannah, Tim Thigpen, Richey Kirby, and Blake Owens.

The family extends special thanks to the Volunteer Fire Department of Town Creek.
