Troy Demastus

Troy Edward Demastus, 90, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at NHC in Moulton, surrounded by his loved ones. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, January 05, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Jett officiating. Burial will be at Montgomery Cemetery.

Born on November 8, 1935, to James and Susie Canup Demastus, Troy enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching Alabama Football. He was a member of Decatur Church of Christ. Above all Troy loved his wife, daughters, and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his spouse of 65 years Faye Demastus ; daughters, Connie (Barry) Smith and Janet Alexander; grandchildren, Liticia (Todd) Leslie, Candi (Kendall) Tiffany, Brantley (Jen) Vest, and Jahnna (Lee) Grisham; six great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Harden; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Susie Demastus; sisters, Irene Taylor, Myrtle Taylor, Magdalene Scott, Lillian Suggs, and Clara Jean King; brothers, Daniel Demastus, JD Demastus, and Cleveland Demastus.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
