Troy Hall, 84, of Danville, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Lindsey Hall Church. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Lindsey Hall Church with Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Born on May 30, 1941 to the late Tom and Sallie Scott Hall, Troy served in the US Army, stationed in Germany. He loved playing the banjo and enjoyed hunting, visiting family and friends, and working on automobiles.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Geneva Hall; brother, Roy Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Maxine Newsom, Delilah Greenhaw, Johnnie Dietz, and Berma Dale Howell; brothers, Preston Hall, Rufus Hall, Thomas Hall, Hoy Hall, and Foy Hall.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Hall, Mark Hall, Tom Hand, James Archer, Jeff Blankenship, Scott McCarley. Honorary pallbearers are Rodger Aldridge, Ray Newsom, Gerald Parker, and Roy Wayne McVay.
The family extends special thanks to Randal and Joyce Smith, Tina Blankenship, Gina McCarley, Roy Hall, and the nurses and staff of Enhabit Hospice for their wonderful and loving care given to Troy.
