Walter Cleveland Hicks, 93, of Mt Hope AL passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Lawrence Medical Center. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home Moulton AL. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday January 28, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Chapel with Anthony Hicks, Keith Hicks, and Bro. James Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Fergason Cemetery. Mr. Hicks was a member of Harris Chapel Church .

Survivors include his wife Faye Riggs Hicks; sons, Anthony Hicks and Terryl, and Keith Hicks and Patricia; grandchildren, Jenna Hicks, Patrick Hicks, Jonathan Hicks and Matthew Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Author and Stasha Bradford Hicks; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Pallbearers will be O’Neal Hicks, Curtis Hicks, David Hicks, Jeron Witt, John L .Riggs, and Kenneth Counts. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Counts, Dexter Lovett, O’Neal Upton, and Dwight Jeffreys.
