Dwight Hagood

Dwight “Cotton” Hagood, 68, of Danville passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be from 1 till 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Bald Knob Cemetery.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan Hagood (Stacy); grandchildren, Landon Hagood, Amberly Cannon, Desiree Terry, and Payton Myers; great-grandchildren, Preslee Hagood, Hunter Cannon, Bryant Cannon, and Austin Terry; brother, Hershel Hagood (Patricia); and good friend, Alton Way.

Dwight was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hagood; daughter, Lisa Terry, grandson, Austin Hagood; sister, Daphine Fite; and brothers, James Hagood, Charles Hagood, and Melvin Hagood.

Pallbearers will be Harold Hagood, Mike Draper, Billy McDonald, Peter Way, Jimmy Long, and Mike Burch.
