Lois King

Lois Marie King, 66, of Mt Hope passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at residence. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home chapel with Jonathan Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

Lois graduated from Mt Hope high school,she loved cooking, sewing and gardening.

Survivors include her husband Harold King of 47 years; one son Chris King (Larhonda Pierce); one daughter Heather Scruggs (Prince); six grandchildren Karley King, Chandler Kowal, Alley Kowal, Weston King, Jaxon Scruggs, and Ava Scruggs; five brothers Coy Dotson (Ann), Tommy Dotson (Synthia), Ronald Dotson (Judy), Titus Dotson (Brenda), Chuck Dotson (Samantha); one sister Jan Dotson Nash and a host of nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents Coy Clay Dotson and Irene Jackson Dotson; her aunt and uncle Russell and Clora Dotson, sisters; Opal Suddieth, Doris Nolen, Ruth Nolen, brothers; James Dotson, Tim Dotson, and Henry Dotson.

Pallbearers will be Corey Cameron, Weston King, Todd Garrison, Tab Garrison, Will Little, and Kendrick Langham; honorary pallbearers Analee Martin and Jaxon Scruggs.
