Micah Devaney

Micah Devaney, 56, of Decatur passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his residence. There will be a graveside service held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Owen Chapel Cemetery with Wayne Turner officiating. Burial will be in Owen Chapel Cemetery.

Micah was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. He loved to garden, deer hunt, fish and plumbing. Micah loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Angela Dutton Devaney, one son, Lucas Devaney, two grandchildren, Lily Grace Devaney and Micah Aiden Devaney, three brothers, David Devaney, Steve Devaney and Scott Devaney

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Magdalene Devaney, and one sister, Becky Coleman.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to Hospice of the Valley and Decatur Morgan Hospital.
