Rebecca Byars

Rebecca Lynn Byars, 36, of Town Creek passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her residence. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm till 2:30 pm on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Mount Hope Cemetery with Danny Compton officiating.

Becky was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Becky loved spending time with her children and she loved to sing, read, color, and word find puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Byars; her brother, Butch Byars; her aunt, Jayne Streetman; and her first husband, Travis Everett.

She is survived by her husband, Chad Chaney; five daughters, Samantha Byars (Dallas Dutton),

Danielle Everett, Tristin Chaney, Christian Chaney, and Kirsten Chaney; one son, Nathan Everett; mother, Janice Byars; three sisters, Chalis Byars (Stacy Kruithoff), Vicki Byars, and Missy Guillory, (Ed); and one brother, Brandon Byars (Jessie Suit).

Pallbearers will be Shane Whitworth, Stacy Kruithoff, Dallas Dutton, Brandon Byars, Chris Long, and Walter LouAllen. Honorary pallbearers are Donny Stewart and Tim Shirley.
